So by now you might’ve heard me mention, once maybe or twice tops, that I recently finished writing and photographing my first cookbook. It’s called The Slider Effect and it’s all about my favorite food, SLIDERS! Now, I’m going to keep on talking about it until I’m blue in the face because I’m very proud of it and super excited for you to see it. June 28 is still so far away, but I promisee you, it’s well worth the wait. So please forgive me in advance if I start to sound like a broken record, especially as the release date gets closer and closer. I can’t help it. I’ve been keeping certain details about the book to myself for a while, just so that I can drop little surprises every so often, right when you least expect it. Really, I just wanted to feel like Beyoncé for once in my life. Like today for instance, today I can officially share with you the cover of the book. There it is, right up there. Do you like it? Do you love it? Do you hate it? (I hope you don’t, if you do don’t tell me because I’ll cry). I’m actually obsessed with it. I think it showcases the cookbook very well and makes you want to open it up and start cooking through it. It’s inviting and definitely makes me hungry every time I look at it. Of course, I’m impartial so you can’t trust my word for it. I do have another surprise for you! It’s been an exhausting two years of hard work, sweat and tears to put this book together. Finally seeing the finished product in my hand, and as we get closer and closer to the release date, I’m getting more and more nervous and excited and nervous. I want you guys to love it just as much as I do. Thank you for all of your support and feedback throughout the years, and for following me along in my tiny corner of the internet. This most definitely would not have been possible if it wasn’t for you guys. I’m always so thankful for that and will never forget it. I hope that my love of sliders and passion for what I do shines through in this book as much as I wanted it to. I hope that this book gets you excited to get in the kitchen and make and eat all of the sliders that you never even knew you wanted. The book is a square and hardcover and I really believe that it’s the perfect size for a cookbook, if I’m allowed to brag for a second.
