I thought I’d put in a quick little post about an even quicker sauce. This is my go-to sauce for almost everything. I slather it on a bunch of my recipes. It’s a perfect balance of coolness and a little heat. With just three ingredients, you wont be able to stop making it, and as soon as you try it, you’ll put it on everything and anything that comes to mind.
The first ingredient is good quality mayonnaise. Need I say more?
You’ll also need some sour cream.
The third and final ingredient is Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce.
The first thing you want to do is grab a small bowl. Put in some mayonnaise.
The next step is to put in an equal amount of sour cream.
I find that the sour cream balances out the mayo flavor. Perfect compliment.
Next, put in some chipotle peppers and a little bit of sauce. If you like heat then by all means, add as much chili as you’d like. If you’re not the biggest “spicy” fan, then just add some of the sauce. Just enough to give it a kick.
It’s that simple. Just whisk it together.
This super simple sauce is perfect in so many dishes. I put it in things like fish tacos, club sandwiches, use it as a dip for onion rings, fries. It’s awesome. Make some the next time you make yourself a turkey sammie, it’ll take it to the next level. Promise.
P.S. This post will make much more sense on the next one. Enjoy.
Quick Chipotle Cream Sauce
- 1/4 C Mayonnaise
- 1/4 C Sour Cream
- 2-4 tbs. Chipotle Peppers in Adobe Sauce
This is ridiculously simple. But I will write it out nonetheless.
Put all the ingredients in a bowl. Mix. That. Simple.
You can adjust this recipe depending on how much you’d like, rather easily.
